Child use and care articles - Chair mounted seat

This European Standard specifies safety requirements and test methods for chair mounted seats intended to be positioned on an adult chair to raise the sitting position of a child able to sit unaided up to an age of 36 months or a maximum weight of 15 kg.
This European Standard does not apply to cushions, pads and to products only aimed at restraining the child on a chair without raising the child's sitting position.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Sicherheitsanforderungen an und Prüfverfahren für Sitzerhöhungen für Stühle fest, die an einem Stuhl für Erwachsene zu positionieren und dafür vorgesehen sind, die Sitzposition eines Kindes im Alter von bis zu 36 Monaten oder mit einem Höchstgewicht von 15 kg, das ohne Unterstützung sitzen kann, anzuheben.
Die Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Kissen, Polster und Produkte, die nur darauf abzielen, das Kind auf einem Stuhl zurückzuhalten, ohne dessen Sitzposition zu erhöhen.

La présente Norme européenne définit les exigences de sécurité et les méthodes d’essai correspondantes pour les rehausseurs de chaise conçus pour être installés sur des chaises pour adulte destinés aux enfants capables de se tenir assis tous seuls, jusqu’à un âge de 36 mois ou un poids maximum de 15 kg.
La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas aux coussins, coussinets, ni aux produits destinés à retenir l’enfant sur une chaise sans rehausser sa position d’assise.

Ta evropski standard določa varnostne zahteve in preskusne metode za otroške sedeže, ki se pritrdijo na stol za odrasle in povišajo sedeči položaj otroka, da lahko sedi brez nadzora odraslih. Uporablja se za otroke do 36 mesecev z največjo težo do 15 kg.
V ta evropski standard niso vključene blazine, obloge in izdelki, ki so namenjeni samo za zadrževanje otroka na stolu in ne povišajo njegovega sedečega položaja.

The tests are designed to be applied to chair mounted seats that are fully assembled and ready for use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
