This standard specifies the required characteristics for three-pole, temperature compensated circuit breakers, rated currents from 20 A to 50 A, UNC thread terminals, for use in aircraft electrical systems, at temperatures between -55°C and 90°C and at a maximum altitude of Z = 15 000 m. It shall be used together with EN 2665-001. These circuit breakers are intended for use in aircraft with electrical supplies in accordance with EN 2282.

Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen an temperaturkompensierte, dreipolige Schutzschalter mit Nennströmen von 20 A bis 50 A und UNC-Klemmengewinde für den Einsatz in elektrischen Bordnetzen im Temperaturbereich zwischen -55°C und 90°C bis zu einer Höhe von Z = 15 000 m fest. Sie ist in Verbindung mit EN 2665-001 anzuwenden. Diese Schutzschalter sind zum Einsatz in Luftfahrzeugen mit elektrischer Stromversorgung nach EN 2282 bestimmt.

La présente norme spécifie les caractéristiques requises des disjoncteurs tripolaires compensés en température, d'intensités nominales 20 A à 50 A, bornes à filetage UNC, utilisés dans les circuits électriques d'aéronefs, à des températures comprises entre - 55°C et 90°C et à une altitude maximale Z = 15 000 m. Elle doit être utilisée conjointement avec EN 2665-001. Ces disjoncteurs sont prévus pour être utilisés avec des alimentations électriques définies par EN 2282.
