Schutzhandschuhe gegen mechanische Risiken

Diese europäische Norm ist auf alle Arten von Schutzhandschuhen anzuwenden im Hinblick auf physikalische und mechanische Beanspruchungen verursacht durch Antrieb, Schnitt, Durchstich, Weiterreissen, Fallschnitt. Schutzhandschuhe gegen Vibration gehören nicht zu dieser Norm. Zusätzlich wurde ein Prüfverfahren mit Einteilung in Klassen für die spezifische elektrische Leitfähigkeit aufgenommen, um elektrische Entladungen mit zu berücksichtigen.

Gants de protection contre les risques mécaniques

Cette norme européenne s'applique a tous les types de gants de protection en ce qui concerne les agressions physiques et mécaniques par abrasion, coupure par tranchage, perforation, déchirure, coupure par impact. Les gants anti-vibration    ne sont pas concernés par cette norme. De plus, une méthode de mesure avec classification de la conductibilité électrique a été incluse pour tenir compte des risques de décharge électrique.

   needlesticks
   electrocution
   optical radiation
   vibrations
   electric fault arcs
   firefighting (covered by ISO/TR 21808)
   sport.

This European Standard specifies requirements, test methods, marking and information for protective gloves against heat and/or flame and hands protective equipment against domestic thermal risks.
It should be used for all gloves and hands protective equipment which protect the hands or part of the hand against heat and/or flame in one or more of the following forms: flame, contact heat, convective heat, radiant heat, small splashes or large quantities of molten metal.
This standard is only applicable in conjunction with EN 420.
There are other standards relevant to specific applications, as for example fire-fighting or welding.
Product tests may only give performance levels and not protection levels.
