Part 3 of this European Standard, in a4dition to part 1, specifies requirements for flat products made of weldable, hot-rolled, high yield strength steels for cold forming.  The grades are given in table 1 (chemical composition) and table 2 (mechanical properties) and are supplied in the normalized or normalized rolled delivery condition as given in 7.2.           The steels specified in this European Standard are applicable to hot-rolled flat products in the thickness range of ü 1,5 mm and ? 20 mm.

Der Teil 3 dieser Europäischen Norm gilt in Verbindung mit Teil 1 für Flacherzeugnisse aus warmgewalzten, schweißbaren Stählen mit hoher Streckgrenze, die für die Kaltumformung bestimmt sind. Die Stahlsorten werden mit den Anforderungen nach Tabelle 1 (chemische Zusammensetzung) sowie nach Tabelle 2 (mechanische Eigenschaften) im normalgeglühten oder normalisierend gewalzten Zustand nach 7.2 geliefert. Die Stähle nach dieser Europäischen Norm werden für warmgewalzte Flacherzeugnisse mit Nenndicken von 1,5 mm bis 20 mm verwendet.

Produits plats laminés a chaud en aciers a haute limite d'élasticité pour formage a froid - Partie 3: Conditions de livraison des aciers a l'état normalisé ou laminage normalisant

La partie 3 de la présente norme européenne, vient s'ajouter a la partie 1 et spécifie les caractéristiques des produits plats en aciers soudables, a haute limite d'élasticité, laminés a chaud, pour formage a froid. Les nuances sont données au tableau 1 (composition chimique) et au tableau 2 (caractéristiques mécaniques) et sont livrées a l'état normalisé ou de laminage normalisant comme indiqué en 7.2. Les aciers spécifiés dans la présente norme européenne concernent les produits plats laminés a chaud dans la gamme d'épaisseur >= 1,5 mm et <= 20 mm.

This document specifies the technical delivery conditions for cold rolled narrow steel strip made of non alloy and alloy steel grades in the form of coils and cut lengths in rolling widths less than 600 mm. Cold rolled narrow steel strip is available in grades of case hardening steel and of steels for quenching and tempering for general and special applications particularily springs.
—   Case hardening steels in thicknesses up to and including 10 mm;
—   Steels for quenching and tempering in thicknesses up to and including 6 mm in the conditions annealed (+A), annealed and skin passed (+LC) or cold rolled (+CR);
—   Steels in the quenched and tempered condition (+QT) in thicknesses between 0,30 mm and 3,00 mm.
In special cases supplementary requirements or deviations with respect to this document can be agreed between the purchaser and the supplier at the time of enquiry and order (see 5.2 and Annex A).
In addition to the requirements of this document, the general technical delivery requirements specified in EN 10021 apply.
This document does not cover cold rolled flat products for which separate standards exist, e.g.:
—   Cold rolled uncoated low carbon steel narrow strip for cold forming (EN 10139);
—   Cold rolled steel flat products with higher yield strength for cold forming (EN 10268).

Part 5 of this document, in addition to part 1, specifies requirements for flat and long products of hot rolled steels with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance in the grades and qualities given in Tables 2 and 3 (chemical composition) and Tables 4 and 5 (mechanical properties) in the usual delivery conditions as given in 6.3.
The thicknesses in which products of the steel grades and qualities specified in this document may be supplied are given in Table 1.
In addition to EN 10025-1:2004 the steels specified in this document are especially intended for use in welded, bolted and riveted components which shall have enhanced resistance to atmospheric corrosion, for service at ambient temperatures (subject to the restrictions described in 7.4.1).
The steels specified in this Part 5 are not intended to be heat treated except products delivered in the delivery condition +N. Stress relief annealing is permitted (see also the NOTE in 7.3.1.1 of EN 10025-1:2004). Products delivered in +N condition can be hot formed and/or normalized after delivery (see Clause 3).

Hot rolled products of structural steels - Part 2: Technical delivery conditions for non-alloy structural steels

Part 2 of this document, in addition to Part 1, specifies the technical delivery conditions for flat and long products and semi-finished products which are meant for further processing to flat and long products of hot rolled non-alloy quality steels in the grades and qualities given in Tables 2 to 6 (chemical composition) and Tables 7 to 9 (mechanical properties) in the delivery conditions as given in 6.3. Three engineering steels are also specified in this document (see Tables 3 and 5) (chemical composition) and Table 8 (mechanical properties). This document does not apply to structural hollow sections and tubes (see EN 10210-1 and EN 10219-1).
The technical delivery conditions apply to thicknesses > 3 mm and < 150 mm for long products of steel grade S450J0. The technical delivery conditions apply to thicknesses < 250 mm for flat and long products of all other grades and qualities. In addition for flat products of qualities J2 and K2 the technical conditions apply to thicknesses < 400 mm.
Products made of steel grades S185, E295, E335 and E360 cannot be CE marked.
The steels specified in this Part 2 are not intended to be heat treated except products delivered in delivery condition +N. Stress relief annealing is permitted (see also the NOTE in 7.3.1.1 of EN 10025-1:2004). Products delivered in +N condition can be hot formed and/or normalized after delivery (see Clause 3).
NOTE 1   Semi-finished products which are to be converted to rolled finished products conforming to this document should be the subject of special agreement at the time of the enquiry and order. The chemical composition can also be agreed at the time of the order, however the values should be within the limits of Tables 2 and 3.
NOTE 2   For certain grades and product forms suitability for particular applications may be specified at the time of the enquiry and order (see 7.4.2, 7.4.3 and Table 10).

Weldable structural steels for fixed offshore structures - Technical delivery conditions - Part 1: Plates

This part of EN 10225 specifies requirements for weldable structural steels to be used in the fabrication of fixed offshore structures in the form of plates.
Following thickness limitations are given in this standard:
-   S355NL1O up to and including 200 mm;
-   S355ML1O, S420ML1O, S460ML1O, S500ML1O up to and including 120 mm;
-   S420QLO, S460QLO, S500QLO, S550QLO, S620QLO, S690QLO up to and including 150 mm.
Greater thicknesses may be agreed, provided the technical requirements of this European Standard are maintained.
The standard is applicable to steels for offshore structures, designed to operate in the offshore sector but not to steels supplied for the fabrication of subsea pipelines, risers, process equipment, process piping and other utilities. It is primarily applicable to the North Sea Sector, but may also be applicable in other areas provided that due consideration is given to local conditions e. g. temperature.
NOTE   There is an Annex F on the prequalification of steels for fixed offshore structures in arctic areas.
Minimum yield strengths up to 690 MPa are specified together with low temperature impact properties at temperatures down to -40 °C.
