This Interpretation Sheet to the European Standard EN 55013:2001 + A1:2003 + A2:2006 was prepared
by the Interpretation Panel of the Technical Committee CENELEC TC 210, Electromagnetic compatibility
(EMC). The text of the draft was submitted to the Unique Acceptance Procedure and was approved by
CENELEC on 2009-05-22.
Requirements for DAB receivers
For Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) receivers no requirements are specified for
– differential mode emissions at the antenna terminals, and
– radiated disturbances at 3 m distance.
This was clearly not the intention of the standard.
