This European prestandard specifies a method for determining the performance of a preservative, applied to the upper surface of the mortar test specimens, in preventing the growth of dry rot through the treated mortar when exposed to the tests fungus. This method is only applicable to masonry fungicides applied as a true solution of the preservative in water or as a water-borne liquid emulsion-type preservative.

Diese Europäische Vornorm beschreibt ein Verfahren zum Bestimmen der Wirksamkeit eines Schutzmittels zur Verhinderung des Durchwachsen des "Echten Hausschwamms" durch den behandelten Mörtel, bei dem auf ihrer Oberseite behandelte Mörtelprüfkörper der Einwirkung des Prüfpilzes ausgesetzt werden. Dieses Verfahren ist nur für Mauerwerksfungizide anwendbar, die als echte Lösung des Schutzmittels in Wasser oder als wasserbasierte Schutzmittel-Emulsionen angewendet werden.

La présente méthode est seulement applicable aux fongicides pour maçonneries appliqués en tant qu'une véritable solution aqueuse de produit de préservation ou en tant qu'une émulsion de produit de préservation en phase aqueuse.
