This European Standard specifies a high performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of the glucose, fructose, sorbitol and sucrose contents in fruit and vegetable juices and related products. This method does not allow the determination of sucrose in the presence of maltose due to overlapping of the peaks.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Gehaltes an Glucose, Fructose, Sorbit und Saccharose in Frucht- und Gemüsesäften sowie verwandten Produkten mit Hilfe der Hochleistungs-Flüssigchromatographie fest. In Anwesenheit von Maltose ist das Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Saccharose nicht anwendbar, da sich die beiden Peaks überlappen.
