This Part of EN ISO 5350 specifies the method for the estimation by transmitted light of the visible dirt and shives in laboratory sheets prepared from pulp. It is applicable to all kinds of pulp, though it is mainly intended for pulp that is not manufactured in sheet form. Part 2 of this European Standard deals with the estimation of dirt and shives in mill sheeted pulp. This part can also be applied to mill sheeted pulp. If the sheets have high grammage or are very opaque for other reasons, in which case Part 2 is not applicable. This European Standard is not intended for recycled pulp.

Dieser Teil der EN ISO 5350 legt die Vorgehensweise für das Durchlichtverfahren fest, das zur Schätzung von sichtbarem Schmutz und Splittern in Laborblättern dient, welche aus Faserstoffen hergestellt wurden. Diese Norm ist auf alle Sorten von Faserstoff anwendbar, obwohl sie hauptsächlich für Faserstoffe vorgesehen ist, die nicht in Blattform hergestellt sind. Teil 2 dieser Europäischen Norm behandelt die Schätzung von Schmutz und Splittern in Fabrikzellstoff.

Elle est applicable à toutes les sortes de pâtes, bien qu'elle soit principalement destinée aux pâtes qui ne sont fabriquées en feuilles... La partie 2 de la présente norme européenne traite de la détermination des impuretés et des bûchettes des pâtes fabriquées en feuilles.
