Food processing machinery - Centrifugal machines for processing edible oils and fats - Safety and hygiene requirements

This European Standard covers all significant hazards as identified by risk assessment (see EN 1050), which are listed in clause 4 of this standard, relevant to centrifuges for processing edible oils and fats, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer. It specifies safety and hygiene requirements for the design, manufacture, use, maintenance and cleaning of
centrifugal machines. The normal operating methods are described in 3.2. This standard does not apply to machines using solvent extraction and ancillary machines (e.g. conveyors, hoppers, etc.). It is not applicable to basket centrifuges.This European Standard is applicable primarily to machines which are manufactured after the date of approval by CEN.

In Abschnitt 4 dieser Europäischen Norm sind die durch Risikobeurteilung (siehe EN 1050) ermittelten signifikanten Gefährdungen aufgeführt, die sich bei Zentrifugen zur Verarbeitung von eßbaren Ölen und Fetten ergeben, wenn diese bestimmungsgemäß und unter den vom Hersteller vorgesehenen Bedingungen verwendet werden. Sie sind in Abschnitt 4 dieser Norm aufgelistet. Sie legt die Sicherheits- und Hygieneanforderungen für die Gestaltung, die Herstellung, den gebrauch, die Instandhaltung und die Reinigung von Zentrifugen fest. Der übliche Betriebsablauf wird in 3.2 beschrieben. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Maschinen, bei denen Extraktion durch Lösungsmittel erfolgt und Zusatzeinrichtungen (z.B. Förderbänder, Trichter usw.) zum Einsatz kommen. Sie gilt nicht für Korbzentrifugen.
Diese Norm gilt in erster Linie für Maschinen, die nach dem Datum der Annahme durch CEN hergestellt werden.

La présente norme européenne couvre tous les phénomènes dangereux significatifs identifiés au terme d'une procédure d'appréciation du risque (voir EN 1050) et qui sont énumérés à l'article 4 de la présente norme ; ces phénomènes dangereux existent sur les centrifugeuses pour le traitement des huiles et des graisses alimentaires lorsque ces machines sont utilisées dans les conditions normales prévues par le constructeur. La présente norme européenne spécifie les prescriptions d'hygiène et de sécurité pour la conception, la
fabrication, l'utilisation, la maintenance et le nettoyage des centrifugeuses. Les modes de fonctionnement normal sont décrits en 3.2.
La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux machines mettant en oeuvre l'extraction par solvants ni aux équipements auxiliaires (par exemple convoyeurs, trémies, etc.). Elle ne s'applique pas aux centrifugeuses à panier. La présente norme européenne s'applique aux machines fabriquées après sa date de ratification par le CEN.
