La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux raccords démontables à filetage extérieur cylindrique G ¾ A conformément à l'EN ISO 228-1. Ceux-ci sont utilisés dans les systèmes de chauffage ou de refroidissement aux points de raccordement hydraulique suivants : raccords entre un corps de chauffe ou un distributeur de circuit et la tuyauterie correspondante. Dans le cas des corps de chauffe avec robinetterie intégrée, le point de raccordement est aussi le raccord à vis vers la pièce de raccordement ou le raccord à vis lui-même.
La présente Norme européenne spécifie les dimensions du raccord simple et du raccord double.
