- Durability
- Materials and construction must ensure long‑term retention of cleanability and load resistance characteristics.
- Marking & product designation
- Products can be designated using characteristic codes: CA (Cleanability), LR (Load Resistance), DA (Durability). Intended use can be marked as Personal hygiene (PH).
- Assessment & AVCP
- Includes requirements for type testing, factory production control (FPC) and declaration of performance (DoP) per the AVCP system and links to Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 (Annex ZA).
