Building hardware, fittings for windows and door height windows - Requirements and test methods - Part 2: Casement fastener handles

This Part of Technical Specification 13126 specifies the requirements and test methods for durability, strength, security and function of casement fastener handles. It applies to all face fixed casement fastener handles fitted to hinged or pivoted windows made from any material.
NOTE    There are limitations to the size and mass of windows fastened by these components, related to the physical ability of the user. The use of single fasteners should be restricted to windows of 0,9 m2 and a  maximum height of 1 400 mm. Above that size, additional fasteners are recommended.
The components are not recommended for use on door height windows

Dieser Teil der Technischen Spezifikation 13126 legt die Anforderungen an und Prüfverfahren für die Dauerfunktionstüchtigkeit, Festigkeit, Schutzwirkung und Funktionsweise von Fenstergriffen fest. Er gilt für sämtliche aufgesetzt an Klapp- oder Schwingflügelfenstern befestigte Fenstergriffe aus beliebigen Werkstoffen.
ANMERKUNG   Bezogen auf das körperliche Vermögen des Benutzers bestehen Einschränkungen hinsichtlich Größe und Masse von Fenstern, die mit diesen Teilen verriegelt werden. Der Gebrauch von einzelnen Fenster-riegeln sollte sich auf Fenster von 0,9 m2 mit einer maximalen Höhe von 1 400 mm beschränken. Bei größeren Maßen werden zusätzliche Fensterriegel empfohlen.
Die Teile werden nicht für den Gebrauch bei Fenstertüren empfohlen.

La présente partie du CEN/TS 13126 spécifie les exigences et méthodes d'essai relatives à l'endurance, à la résistance, à la sécurité des biens et au fonctionnement des poignées à ergot de verrouillage. Elle s'applique à toutes les poignées à ergot de verrouillage fixées sur la face des fenêtres articulées ou pivotantes, quel que soit le matériau constituant ces fenêtres.
NOTE   Les moyens physiques de l'utilisateur imposent des limites quant aux dimensions et à la masse des fenêtres équipées de ces composants. Il convient de limiter l'utilisation d'une seul poignée à ergot aux fenêtres surface maximale de 0,9 m2 et/ou d'une hauteur maximale de 1400 mm. Au-delà de ces dimensions, il est recommandé de monter plusieurs poignées.
Ces composants ne sont pas recommandés pour les portes-fenêtres.
