This European Standard specifies requirements for two types of hose assemblies (Types D ans SD) with hoses made of rubber or thermoplastics and hose fittings made of metal designed to convey liquid or gaseous substances, hereinafter termed the chemicals conveyed. For all hose assemblies, the maximum working pressure is 10 bar (1 bar = 0,1 MPa). Hose assemblies can be operated safely with a conveyed chemical temperatrue in the range of -20 degrees C to +65 degrees C.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen fu(r zwei Typen von Schlauchleitungen (Typen D und SD) mit Schläuchen aus Gummi oder Thermoplasten und Schlaucharmaturen aus Metall zum Fördern von flüssigen oder gasförmigen Stoffen; diese werden im folgenden geförderte Chemikalien genannt. Für alle Schlauchleitungen beträgt der höchste Betriebsdruck 10 bar (1 bar = 0,1 MPa). Die Schlauchleitungen können mit den geförderten Chemikalien im Temperaturbereich von - 20 °C bis + 65 °C sicher betrieben werden.

Pour tous les flexibles, la pression maximale de service est de 10 bar (1 bar = 0,1 MPa). Les flexibles peuvent être utilisés de manière su(re avec des produits chimiques véhiculés dans un intervalle de température de -20°C ` +65°C.
