This European Standard applies to the connection between a gas cylinder valve and a gas cylinder for respiratory protective devices.
It specifies the dimensions and tolerances for thread connections to be used for respiratory protective devices and contains requirements for impact resistance for the connection between a gas cylinder and a gas cylinder valve.

Dieses Dokument legt Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen zur Bestimmung der Standsicherheit für alle Arten
von Sitzmöbeln für Erwachsene im Wohnbereich fest.
Die Norm gilt nicht für Sitzmöbel mit veränderbarer Geometrie, bei denen die Rückenlehne einen Winkel von
10° oder weniger zur Waagerechten aufweist.
Die Standsicherheit kann entweder durch das experimentelle Verfahren oder das rechnerische Verfahren be-
stimmt werden. Bei beiden Verfahren werden die gleichen Kräfte und die gleichen Lastangriffspunkte zugrun-
de gelegt.
Das rechnerische Verfahren gilt nicht für Sitzmöbel mit veränderbarer Geometrie und für Sitzmöbel, die unter
den aufgebrachten Kräften sichtbar nachgeben.
Wenn das Ergebnis des rechnerischen Verfahrens zweifelhaft oder sehr knapp ist, muss das Ergebnis, wenn
möglich, durch das experimentelle Verfahren überprüft werden.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie des méthodes d�essai et des exigences pour la détermination de la
stabilité de tous les types de sièges à usage domestique destinés à être utilisés par des adultes.
Cette norme ne s�applique pas aux sièges à géométrie variable dont le dossier fait un angle de 10° ou moins
par rapport à l�horizontale.
La stabilité des sièges peut être déterminée soit par la méthode par expérimentation, soit par la méthode par
le calcul. Ces méthodes sont compatibles dans la mesure où elles appliquent les mêmes forces aux mêmes
endroits.
La méthode par le calcul ne s�applique ni aux sièges à géométrie variable ni à ceux qui se déforment de façon
visible sous les charges appliquées.
Si le résultat de la méthode par le calcul est incertain ou limite, il doit être vérifié, si possible, par la méthode
par expérimentation.
