This European Standard specifies co-ordinating sizes for kitchen furniture (including worktops), kitchen appliances, sinks and decorative panels for kitchen appliances. For convenience in this document the terms "furniture" and "appliance" are used for "kitchen furniture" and "kitchen appliance". This standard defines sizes for the height, the width, the depth and the space to enable furniture, appliances, sinks and decorative panels to fit together as elements of kitchen equipment. This standard does not apply to catering equipment.
Küchenmöbel - Koordinationsmaße für Küchenmöbel und Küchengeräte
Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt Koordinationsmaße für Küchenmöbel (im folgenden kurz "Möbel" genannt), für Arbeitsplatten, für Küchengeräte (im folgenden kurz "Geräte" genannt), für Spülen sowie für Dekorplatten. Sie legt Maße für Höhen, Breiten, Tiefen und Abstände so fest, daß Möbel, Geräte, Spülen und Dekorplatten als Elemente einer Kücheneinrichtung zueinander passen. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für gewerbliche Großküchen.

La présente norme fixe les dimensions de coordination entre les meubles de cuisine (plan de travail inclus), appareils ménagers, blocs-éviers et plaques d'habillage pour appareils ménagers. Par souci de simplification, les termes "meubles" et "appareils" sont utilisés pour "meubles de cuisine " et "appareils ménagers". Elle définit les dimensions de hauteur, largeur, profondeur et espace libre de façon à ce que les meubles, appareils, blocs-éviers et plaques d'habillage forment un ensemble d'équipements de cuisine coordonnés. La présentenorme ne s'applique pas aux cuisines professionnelles.
