This European Standard specifies the requirements for the tolerances on the dimensions and shape of continuously hot-dip metal coated flat products (strip of all widths and sheet or lengths cut form it) with a thickness <= 3,0 mm of low carbon steels for cold forming and of structural steels. The thickness is the final thickness of the delivered product including the metal coating.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für die Grenzabmasse und Formtoleranzen von kontinuierlich schmelztauchveredelten Flacherzeugnissen (Band aller Breiten sowie daraus abgelängte Bleche und Stäbe) mit einer Dicke <= 3,0 mm, aus weichen Stählen zum Kaltumformen und aus Baustählen. Als Dicke gilt die Enddicke des gelieferten Erzeugnisses einschliesslich des metallischen Überzuges.

La présente norme européenne fixe les prescriptions applicables aux tolérances de dimensions et de forme des produits plats (bandes de toutes largeurs et tôles et bandes refendues coupées à longeur) revêtus en continu par immersion à chaud, d'une épaisseur <= 3,0 mm, en aciers à bas carbon pour formage à froid et en aciers de construction. Par épaisseur on entend l'épaisseur finale du produit livré, y compris le revêtement métallique.
