This standard specifies methods for the extraction, with aqua regia, of trace elements and phosphorus from sludges and sludge products. The resulting solution is suitable for the determination of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb, Se, Zn and P using spectrometric techniques. NOTE 1 With high solute concentrations in extract solutions, spectral interferences and background enhancement should be expected. NOTE 2 This method can be used for other elements except that portion of the elements bonded to silica.

Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren für die Extraktion von Spurenelementen und Phosphor mit Königswasser aus Schlämmen und Schlammprodukten fest. Die entstehende Lösung ist zur Bestimmung von As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb, Se, Zn und P mit spektrometrischen Verfahren geeignet. ANMERKUNG 1 Bei hohen Konzentrationen an gelösten Stoffen in den Extraktionslösungen sollten spektrale Störungen und Untergrunderhöhungen erwartet werden. ANMERKUNG 2 Das Verfahren kann auch zur Bestimmung anderer Elemente benutzt werden mit Ausnahme solcher, die in silikatischen Strukturen gebunden sind.

La présente norme européenne spécifie des méthodes pour l'extraction, avec l'eau régale, des éléments traces et du phosphore se trouvant dans les boues et produits dérivés des boues. La solution résultante est appropriée pour la détermination de As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb, Se, Zn et P en utilisant les méthodes spectrométriques. NOTE 1 Avec des fortes concentrations de soluté dans les solutions d'extraction, il convient de s'attendre à obtenir une augmentation des interférences spectrales et du fond continu. NOTE 2 La méthode peut être utilisée pour d'autres éléments sauf pour la fraction contenue dans les matériaux silicatés.
