Heat meters - Part 3: Data exchange and interfaces
This European Standard applies to heat meter, that is to instruments intended for measuring the heat which, in a heat-exchange circuit, is absorbed or given up by a liquid called the energy-conveying liquid. The meter indicates heat in legal units. Electrical safety requirements are not covered by this standard. Part 3 describes the data exchange between a meter and a read-out device (POINT/POINT communication). For these applications using the optical readout head and the CL interface, the EN 61107 protocol is recommended.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Wärmezähler, d.h. für Geräte, die dazu dienen, die in einem Wärmetauscher-Kreislauf mittels eines Wärmeträgermediums ausgetauschte thermische Energie zu messen. Die Wärmemenge wird in gesetzlichen Einheiten angezeigt. Sicherheitsvorschriften für elektrische Geräte werden in dieser Norm nicht behandelt. Der vorliegende Teil 3 behandelt den Datenaustausch zwischen einem Zähler und einem Auslesegerät (Punkt-zu-Punkt-Verbindung).

La présente norme européenne s'applique aux compteurs d'énergie thermique, c'est-à-dire aux instruments destinés à mesurer l'énergie thermique qui, dans un circuit d'échange thermique, est extraite ou émise par un liquide répondant à l'appellation de "liquide caloporteur". Le compteur fournit la quantité d'énergie thermique en unités de mesure légales. La présente norme ne traite pas des prescriptions de sécurité électrique. La partie 3 traite de l'échange de données entre un compteur et un dispositif de lecture (communication POINT à POINT).
