This part of En ISO 5350 specifies the method for the estimation by transmitted light of dirt and shives in pulp manufactured in sheets. It does not apply to unbleached kraft pulps or to any other sheeted pulps that are too opaque to allow for the estimation of the minimum size or for minimum contrast specks to be counted in accordance with this European Standard. The maximum grammage for most pulp sheets is in the range 800 g/m2 to 1000 g/m2. Part 1 of this European Standard deals with the estimation of dirt and shives in all kinds of pulp. It is based on inspection of laboratory sheets.

Dieser Teil der EN ISO 5350 legt die Vorgehensweise für das Durchlichtverfahren fest, das zur Schätzung von Schmutz und Splittern in in Bogenform hergestellten Faserstoffen dient. Er ist nicht für ungebleichte Kraftzellstoffe oder sonstige Faserstoffe in Bogenform anwendbar, welche zu opak sind, und deshalb eine Erfassung der Mindestgröße oder die Erfassung bei einem Mindestkontrast der Flecken, Schmutzstellen und Splittern in Übereinstimmung mit der vorliegenden Europäischen Norm nicht zulassen.

La présente partie de l'EN ISO 5350 spécifie la méthode d'essai d'estimation sous lumière transmise des impuretés et bûchettes des pâtes en feuilles. Elle ne s'applique pas aux pâtes kraft non blanchies et à toute autre pâte en feuilles trop opaque pour permettre de comptabiliser des défauts de taille ou de contraste minimaux conformément à la présente norme européenne. Le grammage maximal pour la plupart des pâtes est dans la gamme 800g/m2 à 1000 g/m2. La partie 1 de la présente norme européenne traite de la détermination des impuretés et bûchettes dans toutes les sortes de pâtes.
