Pumps - Rotodynamic pumps - Glandless circulators - Part 1: General requirements and procedures for testing and calculation of energy efficiency index (EEI)

This European Standard specifies general performance requirements and general requirements and procedures for testing and calculation of the energy efficiency index (EEI) for glandless circulators having a rated hydraulic output power of between 1 W and 2500 W designed for use in heating systems or cooling distribution systems.
All known hazards which are likely to occur at normal installation and operation are covered by the European Standards EN 809 and EN 60335-2-51.
As regards safety for electro-technical parts of circulators, EN 60335-2-51 applies.

Diese Norm beschreibt allgemeine Leistungsanforderungen und allgemeine Anforderungen und Verfahren zur Prüfung und Berechnung des Energieeffizienzindexes (EEI) von Nassläufer-Umwälzpumpen mit einer hydraulischen Nennleistung zwischen 1 W und 2 500 W, die zur Verwendung in Heizungsanlagen oder in Anlagen zur Kühlmittelverteilung bestimmt sind.
Sämtliche in Verbindung mit einer üblichen Installation und Bedienung möglichen und bekannten Gefahren werden von den Europäischen Normen EN 809 und EN 60335-2-51 umfasst.
Im Hinblick auf die Sicherheitsanforderungen für elektrotechnische Bauteile von Umwälzpumpen gilt EN 60335-2-51.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences générales de performance ainsi que les exigences générales et les procédures pour les essais et calculs de l’indice d’efficacité énergétique (EEI) pour les circulateurs sans presse-étoupe ayant une puissance hydraulique nominale entre 1 W et 2500 W, conçus pour une utilisation dans les systèmes de chauffage et d'air conditionné.
Tous les risques connus qui sont susceptibles de se produire pour une installation et un fonctionnement normaux sont couverts par les Normes européennes EN 809 et EN 60335-2-51.
Concernant les règles de sécurité pour les parties électrotechniques des circulateurs, l’EN 60335-2-51 s'applique.

Ta evropski standard določa splošne zahteve glede zmogljivosti ter splošne zahteve in postopke za preskus in izračun indeksa energijske učinkovitosti (EEI) za obtočne črpalke z naznačeno hidravlično izhodno močjo med 1 W in 2500 W, namenjene uporabi v sistemih ogrevanja ali razdelilnih sistemih hlajenja. Identificirane nevarnosti, ki se lahko pojavijo pri običajni namestitvi in delovanju, obravnavata evropska standarda EN 809 in EN 60335-2-51. Varnost elektrotehničnih delov črpalk obravnava standard EN 60335-2-51.

Circulator integrated in a product means a circulator designed to operate dependently of the products and should be tested and calculated in accordance with EN 16297-3. The following table can be used as guidance for deciding when EN 16297-3 applies. A circulator is considered to be operated dependently if it carries at least one of the design details listed in Table 1.
