This European Standard specifies basic functional requirements for surveillance systems for district heating pipe systems, specific requirements for measuring elements and their installation within preinsulated bonded pipes, valves and fittings, and the field assembly of these measuring elements in pipe joints.
This standard specifies requirements for the manufacture of measuring elements, for the manufacture of preinsulated bonded pipe elements with measuring elements and for the assembly of the measuring elements in the field.
All requirements and recommendations described in this standard are based on the experience gained with existing surveillance systems and their principal function cf. annex A.
The specific requirements given are only valid for electrical wire based surveillance systems forming an integral part of the pipes, valves, fittings and joints.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die grundlegenden funktionellen Anforderungen für Überwachungssysteme für Fernwärmeleitungssysteme, besondere Anforderungen für Messelemente und deren Einbau in werkmäßig gedämmte Verbundmantelrohre, Absperrarmaturen und Verbundformstücke sowie die Montage der Messelemente auf der Baustelle in Rohrmuffen fest.
Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen zur Herstellung von Messelementen, zur Herstellung von werkmäßig gedämmten Verbundmantelrohrelementen mit Messelementen und die Montage der Messelemente auf der Baustelle fest.
Alle in dieser Norm beschriebenen Anforderungen und Empfehlungen basieren auf der Erfahrung mit existierenden Überwachungssystemen und deren prinzipiellen Funktionsweisen. Siehe Anhang A.
Die spezifischen Anforderungen gelten nur für Überwachungssysteme mit elektrisch leitenden Adern (im Folgenden als Adern bezeichnet), die einen festen Bestandteil von Rohren, Absperrarmaturen, Formstücken und Muffen darstellen.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les exigences fonctionnelles de base concernant les systèmes de surveillance destinés aux canalisations pour le chauffage urbain, les exigences spécifiques relatives aux éléments de mesure et à leur installation dans des tuyaux, robinets et raccords bloqués préisolés, de même que les exigences concernant l'assemblage sur site de ces éléments de mesure dans les jonctions de tubes.
La présente norme précise les exigences relatives à la fabrication des éléments de mesure, à la fabrication des éléments de canalisation bloqués préisolés avec les éléments de mesure et à l'assemblage sur site desdits éléments de mesure.
Toutes les exigences et recommandations décrites dans la présente norme sont fondées sur l'expérience acquise avec les systèmes de surveillance existants et leur fonction principale, cf. Annexe A.
Les exigences spécifiques indiquées sont valides uniquement pour les systèmes de surveillance électriques formant partie intégrante des tubes, robinets, raccords et autres jonctions.
