Road traffic noise reducing devices - Procedures for assessing long term performance - Part 2: Non-acoustical characteristics
This document specifies assumed working life requirements and is also intended to assist suppliers in its prediction.
It is to be used only for devices manufactured from materials covered by documents which allow prediction of working life (see Annex B). Materials excepted are those which do not affect the non acoustic performance of the device required by EN 1794 parts 1 and 2.
Standards of construction and any material tests conducted should provide evidence of resistance to specified conditions selected from the following:

Lärmschutzeinrichtungen an Straßen - Verfahren zur Bewertung der Langzeitwirksamkeit - Teil 2: Nichtakustische Eigenschaften
Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an die angenommene Nutzungsdauer fest und soll darüber hinaus den Lieferanten bei der Vorhersage dieser Nutzungsdauer dienen.
Sie ist nur für Lärmschutzeinrichtungen aus solchen Werkstoffen anzuwenden, für die Normen vorhanden sind, die eine Vorhersage der Nutzungsdauer ermöglichen (siehe Anhang B). Ausgenommen davon sind Werkstoffe, die die nach EN 1794, Teile 1 und 2, geforderten nichtakustischen Eigenschaften der Lärmschutzeinrichtung nicht beeinträchtigen.
Baunormen und jegliche durchgeführten Werkstoffprüfungen sollten die Beständigkeit gegen festgelegte, aus nachstehender Aufstellung auszuwählende Bedingungen nachweisen:

Dispositifs de réduction du bruit du trafic routier - Méthodes d'évaluation des performances à long terme - Partie 2 : Caractéristiques non acoustiques
La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences en matière de durée de vie supposée ; elle est également destinée à aider les fournisseurs à prévoir cette durée de vie.
Elle doit être utilisée uniquement pour les dispositifs fabriqués à partir de matériaux couverts par des documents qui permettent de prévoir la durée de vie (voir Annexe B). Ne sont pas concernés les matériaux qui n'ont pas d'incidence sur les performances non acoustiques du dispositif requises par les parties 1 et 2 de l'EN 1794.
Il convient que les normes de construction et tous les essais de matériaux réalisés apportent la preuve de la résistance aux conditions spécifiées et choisies parmi les suivantes :

When assessed against the environmental conditions listed in Annex A of this document, the product shall satisfy the normative parts of road traffic noise reducing devices - non acoustic performance EN 1794 parts 1 and 2. 4.2 Structural elements All structural elements shall normally be designed to give a working life of 30 years under specific conditions, however, a longer or shorter life may be specified.
