This document is applicable to sulphamic acid used as antifoulant for membranes in the treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics and specifies the requirements and the corresponding analytical methods for sulphamic acid. It gives information on their use as antifoulant for membranes in water treatment in Annex A.

Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für Amidosulfonsäure, die als Antifoulingmittel für Membranen bei der Aufbereitung von Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch verwendet wird. Es definiert die Eigenschaften von Amidosulfonsäure und legt die Anforderungen und die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren für Amidosulfonsäure fest. Es gibt in Anhang A Angaben zu deren Anwendung als Antifoulingmittel für Membranen bei der Wasseraufbereitung.

Le présent document est applicable à l’acide sulfamique utilisé comme produit antitartre pour membranes dans le traitement de l’eau destinée à la consommation humaine. Il décrit les caractéristiques de l’acide sulfamique et spécifie les exigences et les méthodes analytiques correspondantes. L’Annexe A donne des informations pour leur emploi en tant que produit antitartre pour membranes dans le traitement de l’eau.

Ta evropski standard določa lastnosti in zahteve za sulfamske kisline in soli.
Podobno kot sredstva proti apnencu (npr. fosfonske kisline in njene soli (EN 15040) ter polikarboksilne kisline in njene soli (EN 15039)) je mogoče sulfamsko kislino in njene soli uporabljati samostojno ali v kombinaciji z drugimi snovmi za pitno vodo kot sredstva proti obraščanju (učinek sredstva proti apnencu) membran za pripravo pitne vode.
Sulfamska kislina in njene soli se uporabljajo v mešanicah z natrijevim hidroksidom in natrijevim hipokloritom ali drugimi oksidanti na osnovi klora za pitno vodo kot odstranjevalec biofilma, zlasti na membranah za povratno osmozo (RO) in nanofiltracijo, s čimer se prepreči biološko obraščanje organizmov zaradi mikrobiološke kontaminacije. Komponente ne prehajajo skozi membrano in se skupaj s koncentratom izločijo v odpadno vodo. Za ostale komponente že obstajajo standardi EU.
