Brazing - Filler metals
This European Standard specifies the compositions of a range of filler metals used for brazing. The filler metals have been divided into eight classes, related to their composition but not necessarily to the major element present, see annex A. In the case of composite products such as flux-coated rods, pastes or plastics tapes, the standard only covers the filler metal that forms part of such products. Although the melting range is given in the tables, it will necessarily vary within the compositional range of the filler metal and can only be regarded as approximate.
Hartlöten - Lötzusätze
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Zusammensetyungen von Lotzusätzen fest, die zum Hartlöten verwendet werden. Diese Lotzusätze sind entsprechend ihrer Zusammensetzungen, aber nicht notwendigerweise nach dem vorhandenen Hauptlegierungselement, in acht Gruppen aufgeteilt, siehe Anhang A. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Produkte, wie z. B. flussmittelummantelte Lotstäbe, Lotpasten oder -bänder, sondern nur fu"r den Lotzusatz als Anteil solcher Produkte.
Brassage fort - Métaux d'apport
La présente norme européenne spécifie les compositions chimiques d'une gamme de métaux d'apport utilisés pour le brasage fort. Les métaux d'apport ont été divisés en huit classes, d'après leur composition chimique, mais pas nécessairement d'après leur élément majeur, voir annexe A. En ce qui concerne les produits composites, tels que les baguettes de brasage enrobées, les pâtes ou les rubans de plastique, la présente norme européenne ne couvre que le métal d'apport faisant partie intégrante des produits.
