The standard applies to nuts classified 1 550 MPa (ambient)/600 °C and replaces EN 4013:2004. It defines configuration, dimensions, material and surface treatment requirements, marking and related technical specification references to ensure consistent, high‑temperature performance of aerospace fasteners.
