Intended for the determination of the 1/1 standard depth of a dyeing on any textile material by a colorimetric method which is a permitted alternative to the visual method described in clause 12 of ISO 105-A01:1994.

La présente méthode est destinée à déterminer la profondeur de teinte standard 1/1 d'une teinture sur un matériaux textile à l'aide d'une méthode colorimétrique comme alternative permise à la méthode visuelle décrite dans l'article 12 de l'ISO 105-A01:1994. Cette méthode n'est applicable qu'à profondeur de teinte standard 1/1 des teintures. Son utilisation pour d'autres profondeurs de teinte est actuellement à l'étude.  
NOTE -- Les éprouvettes pour lesquelles cette méthode colorimétrique indique une profondeur de teinte standard 1/1 peuvent différer des éprouvettes qui montrent une profondeur de teinte standard 1/1 après un examen visuel par comparaison avec des étalons physiques. Ces variations peuvent conduire à des résultats différents dans les essais ultérieurs. Il est recommandé que la méthode d'évaluation de la profondeur de teinte standard 1/1, c'est-à-dire selon l'ISO 105-A06 ou visuellement, figure dans le rapport des essais effectués ultérieurement.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide
federation of national Standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work
of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Esch member body interested in a subject for
which a technical committee has been established has the right to be
represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental
and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO
collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission
(1 EC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are
circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International
Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting
a vote.
International Standard ISO 105-AO6 was prepared by Technical Committee
lSO/TC 38, Textiles, Subcommittee SC 1, Tests for coloured textiles and
coloran ts.
ISO 105 was previously published in thirteen “parts ”, each designated by
a letter (e.g. “Part A ”), with publication dates between 1978 and 1985.
Esch part contained a series of “sections ”, each designated by the re-
spective part Ietter and by a two-digit serial number (e.g. “Section AO1 “).
These sections are now being republished as separate documents, them-
selves designated “Parts” but retaining their earlier alphanumeric desig-
nations. A complete list of these Parts is given in ISO 105-AOI .
