This European Standard specifies the compositions of copper-based master alloys intended for the manufacture, deoxidation, or desulfurization of cast or wroughtalloys, especially those based on copper supplied in the form of ingots, notchedbar, notched slab, granules or broken pieces. A procedure is included for sampling the master alloys for analysis for verification of conformity to the composition requirements. A method for the determination of chromium (III)-oxide in chromium-copper master alloy is given in annex A.
Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen - Vorlegierungen
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Zusammensetzungen von Vorlegierungen mit Kupfer als Trägermetall fest, die zur Herstellung, Desoxidation oder Entschwefelung von Guß- oder Knetlegierungsprodukten, insbesondere solcher, deren Trägermetall Kupfer ist, bestimmt sind und in der Form von Blöcken, als Kerbstab, Kerbplatte, Granulat oder Kollerstoff geliefert werden. Ein Verfahren zur Probenahme für die Analyse von Vorlegierungen zur Prüfung der Erfüllung von Zusammensetzungsanforderungen ist enthalten. Ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Chrom (III)-Oxid in Chrom-Kupfer-Vorlegierungen ist im Anhang A enthalten.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les compositions chimiques des alliages-mères à base de cuivre destinés à la fabrication, à la désoxydation ou à la désulfuration des alliages moulés ou corroyés, et notamment ceux à base de cuivre, fournis sous forme de lingots, de barreaux entaillés, de plaquettes entaillées, de granules ou débris de pièces. Une procédure est comprise pour l'échantillonnage des alliages-mères pour contrôle de la conformité aux prescriptions de composition chimique.
