This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the dynamic viscosity of bituminous binders by means of vacuum capillary viscometer at 60°C in the range from 0,0036 Pa.s to over 580 000 Pa.s. Note: The viscosity behaviour of some polymer modified bitumens (PMB) is not demonstrated in a vacuum capillary viscometer. Other methods are more relevant.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der dynamischen Viskosität von bitumenhaltigen Bindemitteln mit Vakuum-Kapillar-Viskosimeter bei 60°C, im Bereich von 0,0036 Pa.s bis über 580 000 Pa.s fest. Anmerkung: Das Viskositätsverhalten von einigen polymermodifizierten Bitumen (PMB) wird nicht mit einem Vakuum-Kapillar-Viskosimeter dargestellt. Andere Verfahren sind besser geeignet.

Note: Le comportement visqueux particulier de certains bitumes modifiés par des polymères n'est pas mis en évidence dans un viscosimètre capillaire sous vide. D'autres méthodes sont plus appropriées.
