This document specifies the requirements and test procedures for 360° visibility of sit-on self-propelled industrial counterbalance trucks and rough terrain masted trucks (herein after referred to as trucks) without a load, with a capacity greater than 10 000 kg in accordance with ISO 5053 1 and it is intended to be used in conjunction with EN 16842-1.
Where specific requirements in this part are modified from the general requirements in EN 16842-1, the requirements of this part are truck specific and to be used for sit-on self-propelled industrial counterbalance trucks and rough terrain masted trucks with a capacity greater than 10 000 kg.
This part of EN 16842 deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations or hazardous events, relevant to the visibility of the operator for applicable machines when used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer.

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für die Rundumsicht (360°) von motorkraftbetriebenen Gegengewichtstaplern mit Fahrersitz und geländegängigen Staplern mit Mast (nachfolgend als „Flurförderzeuge“ bezeichnet) sowie ohne Last und mit einer Nenntragfähigkeit von über 10 000 kg in Übereinstimmung mit ISO 5053 1 fest. Es ist dafür vorgesehen, in Verbindung mit EN 16842 1 angewendet zu werden.
Wenn spezifische Anforderungen in diesem Teil von den allgemeinen Anforderungen in EN 16842 1 abweichen, sind die Anforderungen in diesem Teil für das Flurförderzeug spezifisch und für motorkraftbetriebene Gegengewichtstapler mit Fahrersitz und geländegängige Stapler mit Mast mit einer Nenntragfähigkeit von über 10 000 kg anzuwenden.
Dieser Teil von EN 16842 behandelt alle signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen oder Gefährdungsereignisse, die für die Sichtverhältnisse des Bedieners für die betreffenden Maschinen relevant sind, wenn sie bestimmungsgemäß und unter Bedingungen, die vom Hersteller als Fehlanwendung vernünftigerweise vorhersehbar sind, verwendet werden.

Le présent document spécifie les prescriptions et les modes opératoires relatifs à la visibilité sur 360° des chariots de manutention automoteurs en porte-à-faux à conducteur assis et des chariots tout-terrain à mât (ci-après désignés chariots) sans charge ayant une capacité supérieure à 10 000 kg conformes à l'ISO 5053-1, et est destiné à être utilisé conjointement avec l’EN 16842-1.
Lorsque des prescriptions spécifiques de la présente partie sont modifiées par rapport aux prescriptions générales de l’EN 16842-1, les prescriptions de la présente partie sont spécifiques au chariot et sont à utiliser pour les chariots de manutention automoteurs en porte-à-faux à conducteur assis et les chariots tout-terrain à mât ayant une capacité supérieure à 10 000 kg.
La présente partie de l'EN 16842 traite de tous les phénomènes dangereux, situations dangereuses ou événements dangereux significatifs relatifs à la visibilité du conducteur pour les machines concernées lorsqu'elles sont utilisées comme prévu et dans des conditions de mauvaise utilisation raisonnablement prévisible par le fabricant.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve in preskusne postopke za 360-stopinjsko vidno polje voznika pri samognanih industrijskih čelnih viličarjih z voznikovim sedežem in težkih terenskih viličarjih (v nadaljevanju »vozilo«) z zmogljivostjo več kot 10.000 kg v skladu s standardom ISO 5053-1 ter je predviden za uporabo skupaj s standardom FprEN 16842-1.
Kjer so posebne zahteve v tem delu spremenjene tako, da se razlikujejo od splošnih zahtev v standardu FprEN 16842-1, so zahteve iz tega dela posebne zahteve za vozila in se uporabljajo za samognane industrijske čelne viličarje z voznikovim sedežem in težke terenske viličarje z zmogljivostjo več kot 10.000 kg.

trucks – Safety”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
