This standard is applicable to hot water floor heating systems as defined in Part 1. The determination of thermal performance of hot water floor heating systems and their conformity to standards in construction is carried out by calculation in accordance with design documents and model: in the case of special constructions and if necessary, the determination of thermal performance by calculaltion is combined with measuring techniques.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Warmwasser-Fußbodenheizungen, die in prEN 1264-1 definiert sind. Die Bestimmung der Wärmeleistung von Warmewasser- Fußbodenheizungen und die Prüfung der Konformität mit dieser Norm werden rechnerisch in Übereinstimmung mit Zeichnungsunterlagen und einem Modell durchgeführt; bei Sonderkonstruktionen und, wenn aus anderen Gründen notwendig, wird die rechnerische Bestimmung der Wärmeleistung mit Messungen kombiniert.
