These terms are listed in the three official CEN languages English, French and German and appear in the three official publications in the respective alphabetical order. The object of this European Standard is to harmonize the terms used in the field of respiratory protective devices and to support their application in the three official CEN languages. La présente Norme Européenne s'applique aux appareils de protection respiratoire. Elle contient une liste de termes utilisés fréquement dans le domaine des appareils de protection respiratoire. Ces termes sont présentés dans les trois langues officielles du CEN français, allemand et anglais et ils sont donnés dans les trois publications officielles par ordre alphabétique. L'objet de cette norme est d'harmoniser les termes utilisés dans le domaine des appareils de protection respiratoire et de supporter leur utilisation dans les trois langues officielles du CEN.
