This European Standard describes a test method for the laboratory determination of the mass per unit area of a sample of clay geosynthetic barrier (GBR-C) in the condition as received.
Since manufacturers quote mass per unit area at a given moisture content, it is necessary to measure the moisture content.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Prüfverfahren für die Laborbestimmung der flächenbezogenen Masse für eine im Anlieferungszustand vorliegende Probe aus einer geosynthetischen Tondichtungsbahn (GBR-C).
Da sich die Angabe der Hersteller hinsichtlich der flächenbezogenen Masse auf einen bestimmten Wassergehalt bezieht, muss auch der Wassergehalt gemessen werden.

La présente Norme européenne décrit une méthode d'essai pour la détermination en laboratoire de la masse surfacique d'un échantillon de barrière géosynthétique argileuse tel que réceptionné.
Les fabricants indiquent la masse surfacique correspondant à une teneur en eau donnée ; il est donc nécessaire de mesurer la teneur en eau.
