This document specifies two methods of evaluating the resistance of rubber- or plastics-coated fabrics to the action of liquids by measurement of selected properties of the materials before and after immersion in selected liquids.
The two methods are as follows:
— Method A: total immersion with liquid;
— Method B: one surface side immersion with liquid.

Dieses Dokument legt zwei Verfahren zum Beurteilen der Beständigkeit von mit Kautschuk oder Kunststoff beschichteten Textilien gegen die Einwirkung von Flüssigkeiten durch Messung ausgewählter Eigenschaften der Materialien vor und nach dem Eintauchen in ausgewählte Flüssigkeiten fest.
Die zwei Verfahren sind die folgenden:
- Verfahren A: vollständiges Eintauchen in die Flüssigkeit;
- Verfahren B: oberflächenseitiges Eintauchen in die Flüssigkeit.
WARNUNG - Personen, die dieses Dokument verwenden, sollten mit der normalen Laborpraxis vertraut sein. In diesem Dokument werden nicht alle Sicherheitsprobleme behandelt, die bei An-wendung der Norm auftreten können. Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Anwenders, geeignete Sicherheits- und Gesundheitspraktiken festzulegen und Übereinstimmung mit Bedingungen natio-naler Rechtsvorschriften sicherzustellen.

Le présent document spécifie deux méthodes d’évaluation de la résistance des supports textiles revêtus de caoutchouc ou de plastique par rapport à l’action des liquides, consistant à mesurer les propriétés sélectionnées des matériaux avant et après immersion dans des liquides définis.
Ces deux méthodes sont les suivantes:
— Méthode A: immersion totale dans un liquide;
— Méthode B: immersion d’un côté de la surface dans un liquide.

This document (EN ISO 6450:2021) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and
rubber products" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile
products” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2022, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by April 2022.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
Any feedback and questions on this document should be directed to the users’ national standards

Komitee CEN/TC 248 erstellt.
