Guidelines for selection and use of respiratory protective devices
These guidelines are intended to provide guidance for the selection and use of respiratory protective devices. The guidelines may be used wholly or in part by European countries in preparing recommendations for the use of RPD's in the workplace. If special needs exist in countries then these should be added to the national documents and CEN TC 79 should be advised about the workplace.

Diese Anleitung soll Hinweise für Auswahl und Anwendung von Atemschutzgeräten bieten. Diese Anleitung kann ganz oder teilweise bei der Schaffung von Empfehlungen für die Anwendung von Atemschutzgeräten am Arbeitsplatz durch die europäischen Länder dienen. Wenn in einzelnen Ländern besondere Regelbedürfnisse existieren, so sollten diese den nationalen Vorschriften hinzugefügt werden und CEN/TC 79 sollte über diese Ergänzungen benachrichtigt werden (nur zur Information).
