General Information
This document specifies fundamental radiographic techniques which enable repeatable results to be obtained economically.
This document applies to the X-ray radiographic examination of heated tool, electrofusion, extrusion and hot gas joints in plastics materials.
It applies to joints in single wall pipes and plates with a range of thicknesses from 5 mm to 100 mm. It only applies to pipes containing air or other gases at the time of X-ray testing.
This document does not specify acceptance leve...view more

ISO 11469:2016 specifies a system of uniform marking of products that have been fabricated from plastics materials. Provision for the process or processes to be used for marking is outside the scope of this International Standard.
NOTE 1 Precise details of the marking, e.g. the minimum size of the item to be marked, the size of the lettering, the appropriate location of the marking, are subject to agreement between the manufacturer and the user.
The marking system is intended to help identify ...view more

ISO 3302-1:2014 specifies classes of dimensional tolerances and their values for moulded, extruded, and calendared solid rubber products. The relevant test methods necessary for the establishment of compliance with ISO 3302-1:2014 are also specified. The tolerances are primarily intended for use with vulcanized rubber but can also be suitable for products made of thermoplastic rubbers. ISO 3302-1:2014 does not apply to precision toroidal sealing rings or to calendared composite products such as ...view more

ISO 15791-1:2014 provides a framework guide for the development and use of intermediate-scale fire tests for products made of or containing plastics. The guidance identifies typical applications of plastics products and possible fire scenarios that can arise involving products in these applications. The development and use of intermediate-scale tests is described to ensure their relevance to the end use of the product.

ISO 6072:2011 specifies test methods for evaluating the effect of hydraulic fluids on standard elastomeric materials that have been manufactured in accordance with specified processes. It allows baseline comparisons of fluids with standard elastomers. The standard provides formulations, mixing procedures and vulcanization procedures for five types of elastomeric composition: acrylonitrile-butadiene rubbers (NBR 1 and NBR 2), fluorocarbon rubber (FKM 2), ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM 1) a...view more

ISO/TR 24699:2009 provides guidelines for inclusion of environmental aspects in standards for rubber and rubber products. It proposes an approach which is directed at minimizing any adverse environmental impact of the products under consideration without detracting from the primary purpose of ensuring their adequate fitness for use. It closely follows the guidelines laid down in ISO 17422, with certain modifications to make it applicable to rubber and rubber products. The guidance provided by IS...view more
