ISO/TC 205/WG 10 is a Working Group within the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is named "Commissioning" and is responsible for: Building commissioning during the design phase of new building and retrofit projects covering commissioning through the design phase of projects, building environmental systems design when performance verification is being performed, and related considerations for specific systems and components. This committee has published 2 standards.
ISO/TC 205/WG 10 develops ISO standards in the area of Information technology. The scope of work includes: Building commissioning during the design phase of new building and retrofit projects covering commissioning through the design phase of projects, building environmental systems design when performance verification is being performed, and related considerations for specific systems and components. Currently, there are 2 published standards from this working group.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental international organization that develops and publishes international standards. Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, ISO brings together experts from 170+ member countries to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
A Working Group in ISO is a specialized group responsible for developing standards or technical work within a defined scope. These bodies bring together international experts to create consensus-based standards that support global trade, safety, and interoperability.
This document addresses the development of a building commissioning (Cx) plan for new construction, major renovations, or system and assembly replacement projects. The commissioning plan incorporates commissioning activities which begin during early project stages, and continue through pre-design, design, construction, turnover and the first year of operation. The commissioning plan is developed during the design stage and also address later stages of the project. The commissioning plan presents the intended process to verify and document that the quality of the built project in operation meets the requirements of the owner. This document provides an overarching process for the planning of commissioning any aspect of a building project and is intended for use with system or discipline specific standards. This document does not include retro-commissioning or recommissioning in existing buildings.

This document specifies a planning method for functional performance testing (FPT). This document is applicable to the planning of the FPT during the design phase of new buildings and retrofit projects, which is defined in ISO 16813. This document establishes how to design building environmental systems when the FPT is being carried out. This document defines the following: - what kind of information regarding the system is required (for example, design documents, drawings and product specifications); - what kind of data should be measured (though concrete measurement techniques are not specified in this document); - how the measured data is analysed. Such clear definition of the FPT makes it possible for building designers to prepare and plan for FPT throughout the design process. This document specifies an FPT method for secondary hydronic pump, system and associated controls in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
