Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zum Messen der Ablösung des aufgerollten Klebebandendes (Flagging) fest, die unter bestimmten Bedingungen auftreten kann. Für Anwendungen, bei denen eine Abrollmöglichkeit für das Klebeband besteht, wird durch die Bewertung des Ablöseverhaltens der Klebebandenden bestimmt, ob ein Klebeband ausreichend fest auf einem gleichen, als Träger dienenden Klebeband klebt. Das Ablösen der Klebebandenden kann unter Normalbedingungen, während des Vernetzens wärmehärtender Klebebänder oder beim Eintauchen in Flüssigkeiten auftreten.
