Anti-seismic devices - Part 1: General design rules

This document covers the design of anti-seismic devices that are provided in structures, with the aim of modifying their response to the seismic action. It specifies functional requirements and general design rules of the anti-seismic devices for the seismic and non-seismic design situations, material characteristics, manufacturing and general testing requirements, as well as assessment and verification of constancy of performance, installation and maintenance requirements. This document covers the types of anti-seismic devices as defined in Clause 4.

Erdbebenvorrichtungen - Teil 1: Allgemeine Bemessungsregeln

Dieses Dokument regelt die Bemessung von Erdbebenvorrichtungen, die zur Milderung der Erdbeben-einwirkung in Tragwerke eingebaut werden. Es legt funktionelle Anforderungen und allgemeine Bemessungsgrundsätze für die Erdbebenvorrichtungen für seismische und nichtseismische Bemessungssituationen, Werkstoffeigenschaften, Anforderungen an Herstellung und allgemeine Prüfung, die Bewertung und Überprüfung der Leistungsbeständigkeit sowie Anforderungen an Einbau und Instandhaltung fest. Dieses Dokument regelt die Typen von Erdbebenvorrichtungen und Kombinationen daraus, wie sie in Abschnitt 4 definiert sind.

Le présent document traite de la conception de dispositifs anti-sismiques qui sont installés dans des structures dans le but de modifier leur réponse à l'action sismique. Il spécifie les exigences fonctionnelles et les règles générales de calcul des dispositifs anti-sismiques en situation sismique et en situation non sismique, les caractéristiques des matériaux, les exigences de fabrication et les exigences d'essai générales, ainsi que les exigences relatives à l'évaluation et à la vérification de la constance des performances, d'installation et de maintenance. Le présent document s'applique aux types de dispositifs anti-sismiques définis à l'Article 4.
