Ta slovenski standard temelji na SIST EN 50341-1 in velja v Sloveniji za projektiranje in izvedbo novih nadzemnih vodov nazivnih napetosti nad 45 kV ter za rekonstrukcije obstoječih. Tega standarda ni treba uporabljati za obstoječe nadzemne vode. Objekti, ki se v času sprejema tega standarda projektirajo ali gradijo, se lahko zaključijo v skladu s predpisi, ki so veljali v času pridobitve gradbenega dovoljenja. V Sloveniji se lahko ta standard uporabi za vse vodnike (glede na opombo 3 v prvi točki EN 50341-1), ki vsebujejo telekomunikacijske komponente. Ti standardi so uporabni v Sloveniji za montažo telekomunikacijske opreme na podpore.
