Qualitative classification of softwood round timber - Part 1: Spruces and firs
This standard specifies the qualitative classification for the roundwood of spruces (Picea spp) and firs (Abies spp). The classification is made either using clauses 4 and 5 or using clause 6. Clauses 4 and 5 describe the qualitative classification of round timber for which the intended use is unknown. Clause 6 gives the characteristics to be included in all national standards describing a qualitative classification or as guideline for contracts describing qualities for round timber of spruces and firs where the intended use is known.
Qualitäts-Sortierung von Nadel-Rundholz - Teil 1: Fichten und Tannen
Diese Norm legt die Qualitäts-Sortierung von Fichten- und Tannen-Rundholz fest (Picea spp und Abies spp). Die Sortierung kann entweder nach den Abschnitten 4 und 5 oder nach dem Abschnitt 6 vorgenommen werden. Die Abschnitte 4 und 5 beschreiben die verwendungsneutrale Qualitäts-Sortierung. Der Abschnitt 6 beschreibt die Kriterien, welche bei allen nationalen Normen für verwendungsbezogenes Nadel-Rundholz (Fichten- und Tannen) aufgenommen werden. Bei Verträgen über verwendungsbezogenes Rundholz werden die in Abschnitt 6 aufgeführten Merkmale angewendet.

La présente norme spécifie le classement qualitatif des bois ronds d'épicéas (Picea spp) et de sapins (Abies spp). Le classement est réalisé soit en utilisant les articles 4 et 5, soit l'article 6. Les articles 4 et 5 décrivent le classement qualitatif de bois ronds dont la destination n'est pas connue. L'article 6 donne les caractéristiques devant être incluses dans toutes normes nationales décrivant un classement qualitatif ou servir de guide à des contrats fixant les qualités des bois ronds d'épicéas et de sapins, dont la destination est connue.
