Personal protective equipment against falls from a height - Connectors

This standard specifies the specific requirements, test methods, instructions for use and marking for connectors. Connectors according to this standard are used in work positioning and fall arrest systems specified in EN 358 and EN 363 respectively. Lanyards with connectors as terminations are specified in EN 354.

Diese Norm legt Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren, Gebrauchsanleitung und Kennzeichnung für Verbindungselemente fest. Verbindungselemente nach dieser Norm werden in Arbeitsplatzpositionierungs-, Rückhalte- und Auffangsystemen entsprechend EN 358, EN 359 bzw. EN 363 verwendet. Verbindungsmittel mit Verbindungselementen als Endverbindung sind in EN 354 spezifiziert.

La présente norme fixe les exigences, les méthodes d'essai, le mode d'emploi et le marquage des connecteurs. Les connecteurs conformes a la présente norme sont utilisées dans les systemes de maintien au travail, les systemes de retenue et les systemes d'arret des chutes spécifiés respectivement dans les EN 358, EN 359 et EN 363. Des longes avec connecteurs comme extrémité manufacturée sont spécifiées dans l'EN 354.
