IEC 61169-11:2010 concerns RF coaxial connectors for use with RF cables both flexible and semi-rigid, where air dielectric interface and high mechanical stability is required for severe environmental exposure. The connectors provide low reflection in the microwave region up to 12 GHz and all patterns may provide sealing up to a pressure differential of 3 bar.

La CEI 61169-14:2010 concerne les connecteurs coaxiaux pour fréquences radioélectriques pouvant être utilisés avec des câbles pour fréquences radioélectriques, soit souples, soit semi-rigides, avec interface à diélectrique air et où une haute stabilité mécanique est exigée pour des conditions d'environnement sévères. Les connecteurs ont un bas coefficient de réflexion dans le domaine des micro-ondes allant jusqu'à 12 GHz et tous les modèles peuvent être étanches jusqu'à une pression différentielle de 3 bar. La version française de cette norme n'a pas été soumise au vote.

Ta standard obravnava RF koaksialne konektorje, tako prilagodljive kot poltrde, kjer se zahteva radijski izolacijski vmesnik in visoka mehanska stabilnost pri hudi izpostavljenosti okolju. Ti konektorji zagotavljajo nizek odboj na področju mikrovalov do 12 GHz, vsi vzorci pa lahko zagotavljajo tesnjenje do razlike v tlaku 3 barov. Za ta tip konektorja se priporočajo kabli IEC 75-7 in 75-8 iz IEC 61196-6: Koaksialni komunikacijski kabli – 6. del: Področna specifikacija za zaključne kable za kabelsko televizijo se priporoča. Ta tip je poznan na tržišču kot 3,5/12 konektor.

FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
