IEC 62282-5-100:2018 covers construction, marking and test requirements for portable fuel cell power systems. These fuel cell systems are movable and not fastened or otherwise secured to a specific location. The purpose of the portable fuel cell power system is to produce electrical power. This document applies to AC and DC type portable fuel cell power systems, with a rated output voltage not exceeding 600 V AC, or 850 V DC for indoor and outdoor use.

Un système à pile à combustible portable est destiné à produire une puissance électrique. Le présent document s'applique aux systèmes à piles à combustible portables à courant alternatif et à courant continu dont la tension de sortie assignée ne dépasse pas 600 V en courant alternatif ou 850 V en courant continu et qui sont destinés à un usage à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur.

Ta del standarda IEC 62282 zajema zahteve za gradnjo, označevanje in preskušanje naprav s prenosnimi gorivnimi celicami. Ti sistemi z gorivnimi celicami so premični in niso pritrjeni ali drugače nameščeni na določeni lokaciji. Naprave s prenosnimi gorivnimi celicami so namenjene proizvodnji električne energije.
Ta dokument se uporablja za notranje ali zunanje naprave s prenosnimi gorivnimi celicami z izmenično ali enosmerno napetostjo, katerih nazivna izhodna efektivna napetost je manjša od 600 V izmenično ali 850 V enosmerno. Te naprave s prenosnimi gorivnimi celicami se ne smejo uporabljati na nevarnih lokacijah iz standardov IEC 60050-426:2008, 426-03-01, razen če se sprejmejo dodatni zaščitni ukrepi v skladu s standardom IEC 60079-0[5]1.
Ta dokument se ne uporablja za naprave s prenosnimi gorivnimi celicami, ki so trajno priključene na sistem
1) za distribucijo električne energije,
2) ki so trajno priključene na sistem za distribucijo goriva,
3) ki izvaža električno energijo v omrežje,
4) za pogon cestnih vozil,
5) za uporabo na potniških letalih.
Gorivne celice, ki omogočajo polnjenje akumulatorja hibridnih vozil, pri katerih akumulator zagotavlja električno energijo za pogon vozila, ne spadajo na področje uporabe tega dokumenta. Na področje uporabe tega dokumenta spadajo naslednja goriva in energenti:
• zemeljski plin,
• utekočinjeni naftni plini, kot sta propan in butan,
• tekoči alkoholi, npr. metanol, etanol,
• bencin,
• dizelsko gorivo,
• kerozin,
• vodik,
• kemični hidridi.
Ta dokument ne izključuje uporabe podobnih goriv ali oksidantov iz drugih virov razen zraka, če se posebne nevarnosti obravnavajo v dodatnih zahtevah.
