Ta standard se nanaša na preproge iz izolacijskega materiala, ki se uporabljajo kot podloga  za tla za zaščito delavcev pred električnim tokom na a. c. in d. c. inštalacijah. Vsebuje pet razredov 0,1, 2, 3, 4 ( razlikujejo se po električnih karakteristikah) in eno posebno kategorijo C (odporen na posebej nizke temperature). Informativni dodatki od E do G dajejo navodila za izbiro razredov v odvisnosti od nazivne napetosti sistema, sprejemnih preskusov in servisnih predlogov.

Annex ZA has been added by CENELEC.
