Part 3 of this European Standard, inaddition to Part 1, specifies requirements for plates and wide flats of high yield strength alloy special steels. The grades and qualities are given in table 1 (chemical composition) and tables 2 and 3 (mechanical properties) and are supplied in the precipitation hardened condition as given in 7.2. The steels specified in this European Standard are applicable to hot-rolled plates and wide flats with a nominal thickness of ü 3 mm and ¿ 70 mm.

Der Teil 3 dieser Europäischen Norm gilt in Verbindung mit Teil 1 für Blech und Breitflachstahl aus legierten Edelstählen mit höherer Festigkeit. Die Stahlsorten und Gütegruppen werden mit den Anforderungen nach Tabelle 1 (chemische Zusammensetzung) sowie nach den Tabellen 2 und 3 (mechanische Eigenschaften) im ausscheidungsgehärteten Zustand nach 7.2 geliefert. Die Stähle nach dieser Europäischen Norm werden für warmgewalztes Blech und warmgewalzten Breitflachstahl mit Nenndrucken von 3 mm bis 70 mm verwendet.

La partie 3 de la présente norme européenne, vient s'ajouter à la partie 1 et spécifie les caractéristiques des tôles et larges-plats en aciers spéciaux alliés à haute limite d'élasticité. Les nuances et qualités sont données au tableau 1 (composition chimique) et aux tableaux 2 et 3 (caractéristiques mécaniques) et sont livrées à l'état durci par précipitation comme indiqué en 7.2. Les aciers spécifiés dans la présente norme européenne concernent les tôles et larges-plats laminés à chaud d'épaisseur nominale >= 3 mm et <= 70 mm.
