Ventilation for buildings - Ductwork - Non-metallic ductwork - Requirements and test methods

This document defines the test methods and performance characteristics for rigid or semi-rigid non-metallic ductwork which are used for ventilation and air conditioning of buildings.
This document does not include flexible ducts such as those made of textiles, non-metallic spiral ductwork or others, which are handled in EN 13180 or ductwork made from insulation duct board, which is handled in EN 13403. Requirements for the air tightness of the ventilation system for non-residential buildings are given in EN 16798 3. For residential buildings, it is essential to apply national rules.
This document specifies methods to test rigid or semi-rigid non-metallic ductwork under laboratory conditions. On-site tests are excluded. The test methods and performance characteristics are valid for ventilation ducts with circular, rectangular or other cross sections.

Dieses Dokument definiert die Prüfverfahren und Leistungsmerkmale für starre oder halbstarre nichtmetallische Luftleitungen, die für die Lüftung und Klimatisierung von Gebäuden verwendet werden.
Dieses Dokument gilt jedoch nicht für flexible Luftleitungen wie solche, die aus Textilien bestehen, nichtmetallische Wickelfalzrohre oder andere, die in der EN 13180 behandelt werden, oder Luftleitungen, die aus Isolierungs-Luftleitungsverkleidung hergestellt sind und in der EN 13403 behandelt werden. Anforderungen an die Luftdichtheit des Lüftungssystems für Nichtwohngebäude sind in der EN 16798 3 enthalten. Für Wohngebäude ist die Anwendung nationaler Vorschriften erforderlich.
Dieses Dokument spezifiziert Methoden zur Prüfung starrer oder halbstarrer nichtmetallischer Luftleitungen unter Laborbedingungen. Vorort-Prüfungen sind ausgeschlossen. Die Prüfverfahren und Leistungsmerkmale gelten für Luftleitungen mit kreisförmigen, rechteckigen und anderen Querschnitten.

Le présent document définit les méthodes d’essai et les caractéristiques de performance pour les réseaux
de conduits non métalliques rigides ou semi-rigides qui sont utilisés pour la ventilation et le
conditionnement d’air dans les bâtiments.
Le présent document n’inclut pas les conduits flexibles tel que ceux en textile, les réseaux de conduits
spiralés non métalliques ou autres, qui sont abordés dans l’EN 13180, ni les réseaux de conduits réalisés
en panneaux isolants, qui sont abordés dans l’EN 13403. Les exigences pour l’étanchéité à l’air du système
de ventilation pour les bâtiments non résidentiels sont données dans l’EN 16798-3. Pour les bâtiments
résidentiels, il est essentiel d’appliquer les règles nationales.
Le présent document spécifie les méthodes pour soumettre à essai des réseaux de conduits non
métalliques rigides ou semi-rigides en conditions de laboratoire. Les essais sur site sont exclus. Les
méthodes d’essai et les caractéristiques de performance sont valides pour les conduits de ventilation de
section transversale circulaire, rectangulaire ou autre.

Prezračevanje stavb - Kanali - Nekovinski kanali - Zahteve in preskusne metode

Ta evropski standard določa preskusne metode in značilnosti delovanja togih in poltogih nekovinskih kanalov, ki se v stavbah uporabljajo za prezračevanje in ohlajevanje s klimatsko napravo.
Ta standard ne vključuje gibkih kanalov, kot so tekstilni kanali, spiralni kanali in drugi, ki so predmet standarda EN 13180, ali kanali, izdelani iz izolacijskega materiala, ki so predmet standarda EN 13403. Zahteve za zračno nepropustnost prezračevalnih sistemov za nestanovanjske stavbe so podane v standardu EN 13779. Za stanovanjske stavbe je treba uporabiti nacionalne predpise.
Standard je oblikovan za preskušanje togih in poltogih prezračevalnih kanalov in njihovih sestavnih delov pri laboratorijskih pogojih. Preskuse na kraju samem je treba izvesti v skladu s standardom EN 12599.
Preskusne metode in značilnosti delovanja so veljavne za prezračevalne kanale s krožnim, pravokotnim ali drugačnim prečnim prerezom. Ta standard zajema kanale, ki so odporni proti požaru, in tiste, ki niso. Prezračevalne kanale, ki so odporni proti požaru, je treba preskusiti tudi v skladu s standardom EN 1366-1.

1 Scope
