Diese Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Schlagzähigkeit von Formstücken fest, bei dem die Formstücke auf eine harte Oberfläche fallen gelassen werden. Für ein Formstück mit Komponenten zur Dichtungsaufnahme, wie Dichtungsaufnahmekappen oder -ringen schließt das Verfahren die Feststellung der Wasserdichtheit der Formstücke ein, wenn die Fixierungselemente eine Beschädigung als Folge der Prüfungen zeigen. La présente norme spécifie une méthode d'essai de résistance au choc des raccords qui consiste à les laisser tomber sur une surface rigide. Si le raccord possède des moyens de retenue des joints, par exemple des bagues de retenue, la méthode comprend l'évaluation de l'étanchéité des raccords lorsque les éléments de fixation présentent des désordres à la suite des essais. Elle s'applique aux raccords en matières thermoplastiques destinés à être utilisés pour des applications enterrées et au-dessus du sol.
