This European standard specifies a method for determining the constant-head water flow capacity within the plane of a geotextile or geotextile-related product. Note: If the full water flow capacity characteristics of the geotextile or geotextile-related product have previously been established, then for control purposes it can be sufficient to determine the water flow capacity at two loads and both gradients.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren für Bestimmung der Wasserdurchlaßfähigkeit mit konstanter Druckhöhe von Geotextilien oder geotextilverwandten Produkten innerhalb ihrer Ebene fest. Anmerkung 1: Wenn die vollständigen Eigenschaften der Wasserdurchlaßfähigkeit eines Geotextils oder geotextilverwandten Produktes schon einmal ermittelt worden sind, kann es für Kontrollzwecke ausreichen, die Wasserdurchlaßfähigkeit bei zwei Auflasten und beiden Druckgefällen zu bestimmen.

La présente norme européenne spécifie une méthode permettant de déterminer la capacité de débit sous charge hydraulique constante dans le plan des géotextiles et des produits apparentés. Note 1: Si les caractéristiques complètes de capacité de débit du géotextile ou du produit apparenté ont été préalablement établies, il peut alors suffire, à titre de contrôle, de déterminer la capacité de débit sous deux compressions et deux gradients.
