This European Standard provides information on the characteristic values for use in designing structures incorportating wood-based panels. For dry process fibreboards (MDF), particleboards and certain fibreboards this standard includes the minimum characteristic values of both the mechanical properties and density. The characteristic values given in this standard are as defined in ENV 1995-1-1.

Les valeurs caractéristiques données dans cette norme sont telles que définies dans ENV 1995-1-1.
