This European Standard defines a range of cable outlets, style K, 90°, shielded, sealed, self-locking (anti-rotational) for heat shrinkable boot, and or with metallic bands under the following conditions.
The mating connectors are listed in EN 3660-002.

Ta evropski standard opredeljuje različne vrste kabelskih spojk tipa K, 90°, oklopljene, tesnjene, samozapiralne (nerotacijske), za toplotno skrčljive dele in/ali kovinske trakove za uporabo v naslednjih pogojih.
Stikalni priključki so navedeni v standardu EN 3660-002.
OPOMBA: Razred N v standardu EN 3660-001 pomeni razred F v standardu EN 3660-065.
Temperaturni obseg, razred F (N): od −65 °C do 200 °C (glej opombo zgoraj);
Razred K: od −65 °C do 200 °C;
Razred KE: od −65 °C do 260 °C;
Razred W: od −65 °C do 175 °C;
Razred T: od −65 °C do 175 °C (nikljeva prevleka PTFE);
Razred Z: od −65 °C do 175 °C (cink-nikljeva prevleka).
Povezani električni dodatki: EN 3660-033 Kovinski trak (za zaključni oklop).
Te kabelske spojke so zasnovane za zaključitev celotne oklopljene pletenice in/ali posameznih kabelskih oklopov. Omogočajo/dovoljujejo zaključevanje toplotno skrčljivih delov.
